리마(LimA) – Chamomile (20241224)

“LimA”가 1년 만에 전곡 프로듀싱을 맡은 “Man in the Cave”와 12곡이 담긴 EP 앨범 ‘Chamomile’로 돌아왔다.

이 앨범은 성인이 되어 갑작스럽게 대학 때문에 서울에 올라오게 되어 적응도 못하고 몸과 마음이 아프기만 해서 고향으로 도망쳤지만 성공을 하려면 서울에 가야 함을 느껴 새로운 다짐을 가지자라는 감정을 계기로 만들어진 앨범이다.

‘Chamomile’의 꽃말은 역경에 굴하지 않는 강인함이고 효능 중 하나는 정신적인 치료가 가능하다는 것이다. 이 앨범 제목이 ‘Chamomile’ 이유는 작은 봉오리를 힘들었던 시절로 비유를 하면은 꽃피우는 과정을 개인적으로 힘들었던 외부적인 요인을 버텨내고 마침내 꼿꼿하게 허리를 곧게 핀 만개한 아름다운 꽃이 되어 이겨내는 느낌을 받았다고 하여 앨범 제목을 위와 같이 정했다고 한다.
